International Airport Sales Agent - Ticket Counter/Gate Agent - YYZ Toronto, Canada Part-Time Position   Please submit CV/Resume in English.

Travel subject to service charges/restrictions. Bonuses awarded only under terms of Continental's plans/policies.

Responsibilities

Staffing the ticket counter, boarding gates and baggage service areas of the airport (Duties may include check-in, ticketing, gates, baggage service and operations). Providing assistance and excellent customer service to the traveling public by performing various customer service duties in the airport terminal such as: Receiving and directing incoming calls, greeting and directing customers, tagging and handling baggage. Preparing tickets, determining fares and routing to assure passengers travel needs are met. Maintaining a neat and professional appearance by adhering to Continental's standards for uniform and dress.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age Must be willing to work the ticket counter as well as the boarding gates and baggage service area. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Proven customer service work experience. Must have a professional appearance. Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to lift and maneuver heavy baggage. Must be willing to stand and walk throughout the entire work shift. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write and speak English. (The ability to speak a second language is preferred) Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holiday. For occasional travel to the USA, must have a valid United States visa as well as a valid and active Canada passport. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada for any employer without sponsorship.
