Responsibilities

The project administrator will work as part of a project team dedicated to hardware replacement. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing project tasks on schedule and by interacting with members of the team.  Interaction with contributors from other project teams will be an element of this position. Ability to analyze project data and provide project updates, and status reports.  Assist with inventory management and control. Assist with deployment scheduling, equipment shipping and change management coordination. Must also be open to adaptive and agile project management methods.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills and team attitude. Knowledgeable/Proficient using MS Office 2007, including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project. Knowledgeable and proficient in procurement processes, including desired experience using Ariba purchasing system. Experience preparing financial statements including month-end/year-end billing statements and customer invoices. Experience/knowledgeable in developing and/or maintaining SharePoint sites. Experience with or willing to learn how to use Service Center change ticket system. Strong verbal and written skills and willing to document project status and timelines in a clear and concise way. Willing to travel, if needed. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.   Please be advised: This job requires working in an area covered by the City of Houston Ordinance Against Smoking - City Code Chapter 21.
