Job Description:
We are currently accepting applications for the position of SAFETY MANAGER PRIMARY DIVISION.This position will assist the URS Director of Safety's execution of the aviation and ground safety program requirements of the Fort Rucker Rotary Wing Flight Training Contract.Essential Responsibilities for this position are as follows:1.Performs duties as aviation and ground safety manager in support of a contract flight training division. Conducts monthly and 'as directed' safety meetings. 2.Performs safety inspections within the supported division. 3.Monitors the day-to-day operations of the supported division for hazard detection. 4.Advises supported flight training division management on all safety, hazard, and risk management matters. 5.Functions as the safety subject matter expert for all employees in the supported division. 6.Reports to the Director of Safety.7.Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
