Responsibilities
Manage and implement TSA Aircraft Operator Standard Security Procedures and Security Directives. Communicate and coordinate with Continental management regarding employee issues involving internal investigations. Conduct investigations of internal/external fraud and theft at the Hub and within region that involve criminal, civil and Company violations. Prepare investigative reports, memos and case overviews for CO (Continental) management. Coordinate and act as a liaison with various local and international government agencies. Cooperate and assist law enforcement with CO related investigations. Carry out Ground Safety Coordinator (GSC) duties and responsibilities. Respond to all security related incidents and events at the HUB and/or outstations to ensure minimal impact to the operation. Identify and analyze station operational security problems and provide assessment. Conduct physical and operational security inspections to ensure compliance. Investigate alleged TSA violations and develop programs having positive impact on station performance. Periodic travel both domestically and international. Shift work required, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred. Excellent communication (written and oral) and organizational skills. Five years of airline experience preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Previous law enforcement and/or airport security operations preferred. Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24 hour/day, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holidays. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel required, PowerPoint and Access preferred). Working knowledge of SHARES preferred. Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position (including the ability to receive security sensitive information). Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal Service clearances. Must be able to pass drug test. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
