Responsibilities
Support Financial Management teams across the organization to effectively and efficiently utilize financial based systems and tools. Includes gathering and validating information from operational and business groups for inclusion in Hyperion Strategic, Planning and Financial Management tools. Assist end-users by creating reports, templates and web forms to consistently provide improved solutions for planning, forecasting and reporting. Assist in the design of new end user tools. Duties include providing business requirements and conducting user acceptance testing. Assist with design of planning and budgeting timelines, processes and assignments to streamline current process and reduce redundancy. Participate in change management for Financial Systems. Ensure business continuity resources and processes are in compliance with company policies. Define, prepare and distribute management reports that identify emerging trends and issues.
Qualifications
Completion of first year in an accredited business or accounting graduate program by May 2011. Successful completion of degree no earlier than May 2011. Superior quantitative and analytical skills. Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability. Detail-oriented and fast learner who can work well with others in a team environment. Ability to manage and prioritize work on multiple projects. Ability to solve multi-dimensional problems and make clear and concise recommendations. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work in fast-paced environment requiring solid, factual decision making ability. Experience with computer systems (Microsoft Office Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word). Willing to pay for your own housing while doing a summer internship in either Houston or Chicago. Must be willing to relocate to the Houston or Chicago area at your own expense.
