Responsibilities
Provide aircraft engineering support to line and check aircraft. Review, evaluate and disposition manufacturer bulletins, management requests and regulatory requirements on Continental Airlines Boeing aircraft. Prepare cost analysis on projects. Investigate and provide dispositions for non-conformances resulting from in-service failures or maintenance incidents.
Qualifications
Must currently be enrolled full-time in an Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Aviation Electronic Technology Engineering degree program. Must have a minimum of 9 semester hours in engineering related course work. Must be at least a Junior or Senior when internship begins (May 2011). Must be available mid-May 2011 - August 2011. Must be willing to relocate and obtain housing in the Houston area during Internship/Co-Op at own expense (transportation / housing information and resources are provided). Candidates must be able to clear a pre-placement drug screen and background check. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship. Please be advised:
