International Airport Sales Agent - Ticket Counter/Gate Agent Part-Time Position

Frankfurt, Germany

Travel subject to service charges/restrictions. Bonuses awarded only under terms of Continental's plans/policies.

Responsibilities

Staff the ticket counter, boarding gates and baggage service areas of the airport (Duties may include check-in, ticketing, gates, baggage service and operations). Providing assistance and excellent customer service to the traveling public by performing various customer service duties in the airport terminal such as: Receiving and directing incoming calls, greeting and directing customers, tagging and handling baggage. Preparing tickets, determining fares and routing to assure passenger's travel needs are met. Vendor oversight at the gate as well as overseeing and coordinating remove ramp operation. Maintaining a neat and professional appearance by adhering to Continental's standards for uniform and dress.

Qualifications

Must be able to work the ticket counter as well as the boarding gates and baggage service area. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Proven customer service work experience. Must have a professional appearance. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy baggage. Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire work shift. Must have at least a high school level education. For occasional travel to the USA, must have a valid United States visa as well as a valid and active European Union passport. Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holiday. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write and speak English and German. Must be legally authorized to work in European Union for any employer without sponsorship.
