Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating all in-service maintenance problems. Evaluate maintenance discrepancies and coordinate with the appropriate departments to accomplish a prompt resolution. Assign technicians and related personnel in accordance with schedule requirements. Responsible for the development and leadership of assigned maintenance personnel. Ensure maintenance activities are performed in full compliance with all Company, Manufacturer's and Governmental Regulations.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma/GED (General Education Development) or equivalent; Some college preferred. FAA A&P (Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant) certificate required. Must have a valid US driver's license (revoked, suspended or expired are not considered valid). Five years aircraft maintenance background. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate the workforce. Good communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work any shift within a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week operation including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal service clearances. ' Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
