Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating all aircraft activity in the maintenance station. Communicate Estimated Time Repair (ETR) conditions and changes to the Tech Ops Control Center. Direct line of communication to Maintenance Control, Sr. Director, Shift Manager, Engineering, Purchasing and Airport Operations. Lead and direct the Line Control employees in their day to day activities. PP&R reviews and ratings, create shift schedules, ensure vacation coverage, monitor attendance, etc.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma/GED (General Education Development) or equivalent. Some college preferred. FAA A&P (Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant) certificate required. Must have valid US driver's license (revoked, suspended or expired are not considered valid). Five (5) years aircraft maintenance background. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate the workforce. Good communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work any shift within a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week operation including days, nights, weekends and holidays. 'Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal service clearances. ' Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
