Responsibilities

Oversees and responsible for daily operations for the PNI Station with direct supervision of 20 Customer Service Agents. Ensures all FAA mandated training requirements are met by station personnel. Performs station administrative tasks such as verify payroll timesheets, reviews agent daily sales reports, maintains station’s employee personnel and training files, completes the monthly internal controls self audit (SAQ) and corrects all findings.  Assist with preparation of annual station budgets and provides Regional Manager with monthly variance explanations.  Works closely with Team Leader to ensure staff is scheduled in most efficient and economical manner.  Counsel and administer disciplinary action as required, closely monitor overall station performance to ensure all customers (reservations, passenger service and cargo) are receiving a very high caliber of customer service.  Responsible for station mail scan performance. Performs all duties as directed by the Regional Managers and acts as the City Manager during periods when Regional Managers is not in station.   This position is a key aspect of Continental Micronesia’s Management Development Program. Individual holding this position is trained in all aspects of leading a Continental Micronesia station with expectation individual will become a City Manager in Micronesia when the opportunity becomes available.

Qualifications

College graduate preferred. Minimum of five years of airline industry experience with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity (Team Leader or Higher). Prior experience in all aspects of running a small station where ability to cross utilize team is a key element of success. Must have good working knowledge of SHARES and basic PC skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint. Excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write, speak and understand both English and Pohnpeian, helpful. Must be able to work independently. Must be willing to make a long term commitment to working in Micronesia. Must be able to work in the FSM (Federated States of Micronesia) for any employer without company sponsorship. Must be willing to work any shift, including early morning, late nights, weekends and holidays.  Must be able to travel to the U.S. for pre-employment processing.
