Responsibilities

Work closely with other application development teams and operations to perform analysis and provide solutions to technical issues related to application design and deployment. Design, programming, unit testing and deployment of applications using the Microsoft .Net application environment. Design, develop, maintain and monitor intranet web sites. Work with Business Analyst and Project Manager to estimate work. Work with testing resources to effectively test code and resolve issues. Assist with documenting requirements as needed; includes collaborative meetings with end users.

Qualifications

Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Strong problem solving & analytical skills. Must demonstrate effective organizational skills, demonstrated by ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and be attentive to detail. Must be a self-starter, work well in a team environment, and be able to work with minimal direction and supervision. Must display flexibility and initiative. Ability to quickly learn multiple tasks in an ever-changing environment. Three to five years of web and windows application development experience. Three to five years of development experience with MSSQL or Oracle database. Two to four years of web master experience. Skill set should include experience in the following languages and tools: Microsoft.Net, C#, ASP.Net, Microsoft Visual Studio and MSSQL Server. AJAX, MSSQL Reporting Services, Oracle and Sharepoint Portal preferred. Experience in supporting computer applications to maintain operations, service levels and availability of systems is preferred. Experience in system deployment and basic server configuration a plus. Experience in maintaining system documentation, coordinating change management activity to ensure system enhancements comply with internal and external audit requirements is preferred. Specific experience within the airline industry will be given strong preference. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
