Responsibilities

Support business aspects of Flight Profitability System (FPS) thru operational analysis. Formulate, maintain mathematical models to evaluate operational & business strategies at flight level. Gather and validate info from operational & business groups for inclusion in costing system. Perform system analysis, model optimization to reflect business strategies & operational environment. Assist in design of end user tools, incl. establishment of business requirements & conducting user acceptance testing. Analyze strategic changes, historical results to determine impact on flight profitability & key statistical metrics. Advise on breakdown of costs, revenue & correlated statistical components to forecast, budget, maximize resource allocations at a micro level. 

Qualifications

Masters in Engineering, Operations Research or Business Administration PLUS 2 years in the job OR 2 years as an analyst in the airline industry performing statistical analysis or operational modeling. In lieu of a Masters plus 2 years, a Bachelor plus 5 years in the job or 5 years as an analyst performing statistical analysis or operational modeling including 2 years in the airline industry will be accepted.
