Responsibilities

Identify high-value sourcing opportunities through spend assessment and proactive involvement in technical projects. Lead cross-functional teams. Manage project tasks and time-lines. Facilitate team problem-solving and decision-making. Identify category requirements. Assess supply market opportunities and risks. Develop category strategies and prepare position papers. Prepare and issue RFIs(Request For Information), RFPs(Request For Proposal), and RFQs(Request For Quote). Conduct on-line sourcing events. Perform price and cost analysis. Negotiate contract terms and conditions. Draft contracts from approved boilerplates. Prepare and present contract award recommendations. Manage transitions to new suppliers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree desirable. Knowledgeable of aircraft systems, certification processes, and FAA regulations preferred. Minimum 3 years experience in procurement or equivalent. Strong communication and project management skills. High proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Certified Purchasing Manager(CPM) desirable. Knowledgeable of supply chain principles, methods and best practices. Must be legally authorized to work int he US for any employer without sponsorship.
