Responsibilities
Monitor all flight arrivals accordingly, dispatch cabin cleaning personnel, lavatory services personnel. Administer and Coordinate all vendor activities during A.M. / P.M. / Remain Overnight (RON) shifts. Monitor and advise responsible business partners of all gate changes, aircraft swaps and ensure compliance in order to avoid all types of service failures. Pre-Plan daily operation with all Business Partners to ensure proper level of staffing is available to meet the daily requirements and make adjustments as needed. Complete daily paperwork which consists of the following, but not limited to: International Flight Activity, Transcon Activity, Remain Overnight (RON) Flight Activity, Aircraft Scheduling Cleaning System (ASCS) approvals, and daily discrepancy reports. Coordinate nightly per event schedule services, obtain approval from Aircraft (A/C) Maintenance for all cycle work past due and assigned to the Business Partners accordingly (Major Effort Cleaning (M.E.C.), Carpets, Upholstery Change out, Exterior Wash). Send a daily operational e-mail to Headquarters (HQS) Aircraft Appearance Support Team advising them of all cycle services that were approved and performed on a nightly basis. Liaison between Airport Services, Maintenance Personnel, In-flight Services, Terminal Operations, Chelsea and Newark Operations Coordination Center (N.O.C.C). Responsible for conducting the weekly Aircraft Appearance provisioning supply inventory. Responsible for providing and certifying the Aircraft Appearance Business Partners with the following training; Lavatory Services, Aircraft (A/C) door opening, Major Effort Cleaning (M.E.C.), Cockpit Major Effort Cleaning (M.E.C.), Interior Cleaning, Exterior Cleaning, Cabin Audit *Audit Business Partners Work performance to ensure compliance as indicated by Continental Airlines.
Qualifications
High school diploma/General Equivalent Development (GED) or equivalent required. Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in Continental Airlines working environment. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. (Suspended, expired, revoked or denied licenses are not valid.) Position requires a 'Self-Starter' who must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high stress environment. Must be flexible to work any shift assigned within a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week operation including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed. Hours can include late nights and early mornings. Must have analytical skills and be a proven problem solver. Must be competent with a PC and be able to use multiple computer applications at the same time (including FOMS/SHARES). Must be able to lift 25 lbs and be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain Port ID Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship. *SAJ*
