Responsibilities

Performs administrative duties. Involvement in all aspects of day to day Human Resources activities and assisting associates. Compose correspondence. Must be capable of maintain confidentiality of all employee information. Ability to organize and perform a variety of task/often changing assignments if short notice. Review applications, schedule interviews. Assist in screening prospective candidates for non-exempt positions. Special assignments as assigned by HR Manager. Ensure all work is completed within established company policies and procedures. Maintains positive employee relations by responding to employees concerns in a timely and courteous manner and follow-up as necessary. Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers. Conducts new employee orientations. Maintains employee personnel files. Generates reports as necessary or required. Provides general administrative support to facility. Plans, schedules, and facilitates various training classes. Maintains and updates training database. Plans, participates, and assists in local roundtable meetings, appreciation day celebrations & other recognition programs. Maintains company postings (Go Forward) and bulletin boards. Tracks attendance and generates/distributes monthly attendance reviews. Assists associates in Human Resources matters. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) or equivalent preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to type 35 wpm (testing may be administered). Microsoft Office proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (testing may be administered). Must be able to read, write and speak English; bi-lingual a plus. Previous HR experience preferred. Ability to stay on task with multiple interruptions. Excellent problem solving and organizational skills with ability to multi task. Works well under pressure and ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain a high degree of integrity, honesty and confidentiality. Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive/personal/private/confidential information in a professional manner. Motivated and positive demeanor. Must be willing to work any shift in a 24/7 week, including weekends, nights and holidays. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship. *SAJ*
