Responsibilities

Analysts are responsible for maintaining competitive Continental (CO) pricing via use of the Airprice system. Must analyze changes three times daily and make recommendations based on current demand and profitability. Must develop and maintain pricing structures to enhance CO's revenue. All analysts must become proficient in the filing of fares, rules, and footnotes for the US and Latin America.

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of CO and other airlines' route and pricing structures is strongly preferred. Candidate should be self-motivated individual willing to work flexible hours due to daily shift in workload and must be able to work weekend rotation; generally once every 6 weeks. Candidate should have a proven track record in problem identification and solving. He or she must possess the capabilities to work across departments, as interaction with various other areas is critical. Extensive knowledge of Excel, SQL, and BRIO is strongly preferred. A college degree or 3 to 4 years minimum work experience in a related field is required. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.   Please be advised: This job requires working in an area covered by the City of Houston Ordinance Against Smoking - City Code Chapter 21.
