Responsibilities
Direct and manage multiple eCommerce and Reservations projects. Define project goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Identify and manage project risk, dependencies and critical path. Creates funding justification and works with Finance group to secure funding. Monitors expenditures related to the project. Work closely with technical project manager to ensure technical progress follows the plan. Manage changes in project scope. Proactively identify potential issues and solutions. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate project team members. Track project milestones and deliverables. Communicate project progress and issues via executive summaries, weekly status meetings and project status reports. Delegate additional projects/tasks to direct reports and manage their progress. Supervise, coach and mentor direct reports' performance.
Qualifications
3 plus years project management experience. Must have understanding of the software ystems development life cycle (SDLC). PMP certification preferred. Proven track record of successful project implementation. Ability to work effectively on multiple projects while managing time efficiently. Demonstrated leadership managing people. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project software. Strong written and oral communication skills. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
