Responsibilities

Teach Formal Aircraft Systems classes including Avionic/Electrical and Airframe/Powerplant subjects. Develop training material for Formal Aircraft System classes, On-the-Job Training (OJT) and  Computer Based Training (CBT).  Develop training for Aircraft Taxi/Engine Run as well as Technical Operations Policies, Procedures and Paperwork training. Facilitate training for Aircraft maintenance vendor and/or agency personnel training for new stations that are opened.

Qualifications

FAA A&P license required. FAA FCC certificate preferred. Must have a High school diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma) or equivalent. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.  Working knowledge of FAA-H-8083-9 (Aviation Instructor 's Handbook) is required. Strong basic computer abilities required including Word and PowerPoint applications. Experience in facilitating material/knowledge to students. Ability to observe and determine the learning/performance level of the student. Course development experience required. Ability to create course syllabi. Ability to write/produce training material. Proficient public speaker. Excellent writing skills required. Strong technical writing skills preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
