Responsibilities

Review and monitor SSIM (security information manager) and report on security related events. Monitor network device configurations to assure they meet security standards. Collaborate with the business units to remediate security events and configuration non-compliance. Monitor, recommend, implement and test policies for Symantec Endpoint Protection system. Recommend, implement and test additional correlation rules for SSIM. Assist in the management and maintenance of the SSIM. Provide advice, guidance, and assistance to management, project teams, and system users relative to network device configurations. Provide assistance in any incident response cases that may occur.

Qualifications

Undergraduate or graduate studies in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Engineering) 2+ years of experience in Information Security. Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (PCI, SOX, HIPAA, PII) Security certification a plus. Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management. Capable of implementing security solutions and lead technical and non-technical teams to perform best practices in security areas. Strong conceptual and analytical skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Must be a team player. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
