Responsibilities
Reports to the Manager of Quality Audit. Responsible for audits of Continental Airlines internal departments and programs/ processes in accordance with the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance (CAS) Program as required by the FAA and DOD. Audits consist of initial department / regulatory requirement research, on-site audits / evaluations, generating reports and following-up on open issues. This position will require the individual to work independently, be detail oriented, monitor multiple projects / assignments, and interface / communicate with all levels of management during the accomplishment of the audits. Although this position is based in Houston, Texas some travel may be required.
Qualifications
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required. 10 Years experience in Aviation Maintenance, Quality Control, or Administration. (Prefer Continental Airlines specific experience) Knowledge of CFR 14 Requirements (Electronic Code of Federal Regulations) and associated Guidance Material. Must be willing to travel when needed. Must hold a valid US Passport or be eligible to acquire one for possible international travel. Familiar with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
