Responsibilities

Lead Liability Claims group in the investigation, evaluation and settlement of Aviation Liability Claims. Oversee the handling of Auto Liability Claims through TPA. Develop and Distribute ad hoc reports to various internal work groups and liability insurer. Install, administer and troubleshoot claims data software system. Conduct monthly reconciliation of General Ledger account. Work closely with Legal department and liability insurer on claim reviews, reserves and resolution. Direct outside counsel in the handling of lawsuits against ExpressJet involving CAL customers/vendors. Participate in mediations throughout the country.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Business degree preferred. 10 plus years experience in general liability claims/lawsuit management preferred. 5 plus years supervisory experience. Proficiency in the interpretation and application of contract language. Demonstrated ability to organize and supervise a multi tasked environment. Proficiency in the use of PC based and MS Office applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
