Responsibilities
Provide agents with information regarding agent pay, absences and corporate policies. Work closely with Electronic Time and Attendance (eTA) managing payroll, correcting errors, entering over-time (OT) and absence codes (sick, paid personal, Family Leave (FML). Process day trades, shift adjustments, upgrades and overtime awards. Produce reports: outages, attrition, hours usage, attendance, mail reports, cargo accounting reports. Process leaves: personal, Occupational Injury (OI), Medical & Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Process all vacations including the vacation bids, vacation changes, deferred holidays, and day at a time vacations (DATVs). Perform ad-hoc special research, assignments, and projects as required. Issue, monitor, and order daily-use materials including stationary, printer supplies, corporate forms. Distribution of payroll and company materials as well as administering the company uniform process. Coordinate and maintain compliance with regard to company, US Customs, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), United States Postal Service (USPS) and Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) identification badges and security programs. Maintain and update employee-parking permissions, personal files, seniority lists, attendance files, and medical files. Administer the Cargo Accounting process including Cash-Reports, Mail Accounting, Tonnage Reports, and Freight-Screening Logs.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/General Education Development (GED) or equivalent is required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Knowledge of corporate policies and procedures. Extensive familiarity with Fly-to-Win guidelines, Working Together Guidelines, time and attendance policies, uniform standards, and training requirements preferred. Working knowledge and experience with eTA (electronic time and attendance) and COMPAS is a plus. Must be proficient in Cargo Accounting. Ability to work with all levels of the organization. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications with focus on Excel, Word and Outlook. Must have Account Payable experience. Knowledge of budgets/accruals preferred. Must have effective communication and written skills. Must be flexible to work any shift assigned within a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week operation including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed. Strong customer service skills. Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)/ Transportation Security Administration (TSA)/Port Authority/US Customs and United States Postal Service clearances. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
