Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating all in-service maintenance problems. Evaluate maintenance discrepancies and coordinate with the appropriate departments to accomplish a prompt resolution. Assign technicians and related personnel in accordance with schedule requirements. Responsible for the development and leading of assigned maintenance personnel. Ensure maintenance activities are performed in full compliance with all Company, Manufacturer's and Governmental Regulations.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma) or equivalent, some college preferred. FAA A&P (Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant)certificate required. Ten years maintenance background, five of which directly supervise employees. Strong people skills, with the ability to motivate the workforce. Good communication and organizational skills. Shift work required. Shift work required.  Must be able to work any shift within a 24 hour operation including nights, weekends and holidays.  Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal service clearances. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
