Responsibilities

Generate Employee Time and Attendace (eTA) reports and perform employee master list maintenance in Access. Generate daily, weekly, monthly reports for various department heads. Process various forms and requests. Monitor and correct employee hours and accrual balances in Employee Time and Attendance  (eTA). Process schedule exception cards. Provide accurate and timely responses to employee inquiries related to administrative and payroll issues. Update employee schedules. Process day and shift trades and record planned outages. Generate attendance letters. Perform ad-hoc special assignments and research as required. Distribute paychecks, forms and other materials. Provide accurate and timely responses to employee inquiries related to payroll and administrative issues.

Qualifications

High school diploma/General Equivalent Diploma (GED) or equivalent and work-related experience. Comprehensive knowledge of corporate policies and procedures related to time and attendance, training and uniform standards, including FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act.) Strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills and ability to work with peers in other groups. Proven ability to resolve issues accurately. Analytical skills to investigate and resolve discrepancies within a short period of time. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications with a focus on Excel, Word and Outlook (Test given). Working knowledge of eTA preferred. Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivated, detail oriented and the ability to work with minimum supervision. Must be willing to work any shift in a 24/7 week, including weekends, nights and holidays. Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint based criminal history check in order to obtain credentials necessary for the position. Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)/ Transportation Security Administration (TSA)/Port Authority/US Customs and United States Postal Service clearances. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
