Responsibilities

Application Development, Systems Programming, Software Design. Web Development using C#, ASP.NET & AJAX. Interaction with relational databases (MSSQL and others). Use of proper coding techniques and algorithms. Application design, deployment and support procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field. Ability to work on verbal instructions with minimal supervision. Skill set should include Microsoft .NET, C# and ASP.NET. AJAX and Sharepoint experience a plus. Training (self or formal) in industry accepted software design and implementation principles. Knowledge of networking, databases, source code versioning systems, general and accepted coding principles. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship.   Please be advised: This job requires working in an area covered by the City of Houston Ordinance Against Smoking - City Code Chapter 21.
