Responsibilities

Responsible for understanding and coordinating all in-service structural maintenance problems. Evaluate maintenance discrepancies and coordinate with the appropriate departments to accomplish a prompt resolution. Assign technicians and related personnel in accordance with schedule requirements. Responsible for the development and leading of assigned maintenance personnel. Ensure maintenance activities are performed in full compliance with all Company, Manufacturer's and Governmental Regulations. Shift work at both Houston heavy check operations required.

Qualifications

FAA A&P certificate. Ten years aircraft sheet metal maintenance background, five of which directly supervise employees. High school graduate, some college preferred. Strong people skills, with the ability to motivate the workforce. Good communication and organizational skills. Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal service clearances. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
