Responsibilities
Create and maintain job cards that support the approved maintenance specification requirements. Incorporate and manage approved engineering changes in maintenance manuals, parts catalogs and wiring diagram manuals. Provide on-site assistance to Continental and contract maintenance personnel to support manual and job card development, promote safety, maximize productivity and/or reduce cost. Communicate with Technical Operations personnel to develop and implement written procedures and effective illustrations. Prepare and present project reports and perform other related duties as assigned. Contribute to department strategic goals.
Qualifications
Proven technical writing and editing skills. Background in commercial or military aviation preferred. Good knowledge of aircraft systems. Ability to interpret aircraft engineering documents and drawings, maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics. Proficient using MS Office software. XML/SGML experience a plus. Ability to prioritize workload as requirements change and good multi-tasking skills. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
