Responsibilities

Work generally recognized as technician's work in shops, maintenance bases and line stations on aircraft (including power plants), parts and other related work. Responsible for the work performed and may be required to test, check and certify for service the work performed.

Qualifications

FAA A&P License required. Twenty-four months experience required in trouble shooting, repair and maintenance of aluminum and/or composite skinned pressurized jet/turboprop aircraft. Valid state driver's license (revoked, suspended or expired are not considered valid). Must pass 10-year background check, drug screen and physical. Must be flexible to work any shift in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship. Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal service clearances.
