Responsibilities

Primary Technology partner and contact for Airport Services and Technical Operations divisions for Implementation of Maximus Fleet Focus system. Maximus is an asset tracking and management tool that Continental will use to manage the preventative maintenance and non-PM work on its Ground Service Equipment (GSE) worldwide. It also tracks parts inventory. Not a must have but a BONUS if they know this system. Responsible for full life cycle project management of project: requirements, procurement, development, testing, implementation and support. Time spent on each aspect will average equal on all parts. It could cycle through more than once during the life span of project. Work with business leaders to assure project goals and execution are all in alignment with business goals. Works with Enterprise Program Office (EPO) and engineering teams to coordinate hardware installation and support. Works with Business sponsor to monitor and communicate spending against existing AFE's. Define and monitor the scope and timeline of each project deliverable. Ensures Business requirements are complete, concise and approved by the business unit and project sponsors. Coordinates and directs project goals, initiatives and deliverables among technology entities and communicates progress to project sponsors. Coordinate and document processes/requirements/hardware environments....primary point of contact for the successful migration/implementation of this tool (on time and under budget) Maintains the day-to-day interactions of the development team and business sponsors. Handles or communicates unexpected challenges with timely competence, and ensures program outcomes that meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations. Oversees the quality assurance and production turnover process. Ensures on-time and on-budget project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in MIS or CIS. Knowledge of Continental (CO) Airport operations (processes, procedures) and Ground Service Equipment environment (at an airline or other...ex. Metro, Police, etc) Not a must have but a very big nice to have Knowledge of Datastream MP2 and 7i applications as well as Maximus' Fleet Focus. These are the current GSE Management tools used by CO. Both built by Datastream. We are now converting/migrating to Maximus Fleet Focus to replace these 2 existing applications. If they know these....it is a bonus....if they have experience with large scale product migrations and process change and data conversion documentation....that's great. Excellent Project Management and Leadership Skills - PMP Certification preferred; Project Management experience on large scale/complex/enterprise wide projects. Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle. Strong Oral and communication Skills with ALL levels of the company Proficient in MS Office and MS Project. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for Continental without sponsorship.
