•FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificates
•Inspection Authorization Preferred

Job Description:
•Ensures that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work before it is released to service, and that the proper inspection and maintenance records, reports, and forms required for such release are properly executed.
•Assist the Chief Inspector in assuring the airworthiness and reliability of all aircraft, engines, components, and accessories.
•Work to and assist in ensuring that standards and regulations established by the XOJET, Inc. General Maintenance Manual, FAA Directives and Regulations and Manufacturers’ Service Bulletins are complied with.
•Assist in maintaining the historical records of all aircraft, engines, and accessories operated by XOJET, Inc.
•Assist in the performance of conformity inspections on aircraft prior to being put in Part 135 service and in producing the necessary documentation to prove conformity to FAA personnel.
•Assist in monitoring and taking action to ensure time limitations and specifications of all time and cycle controlled inspections, special inspections, replacement of parts and overhauls as contained in the Maintenance Operations Specification are maintained.
•Assist in establishing inspection procedures and standards as necessary to assure airworthiness and regulation compliance.
•Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with FAA agents assigned to XOJET, Inc.
•Perform audits of Contract Maintenance Facilities to ensure suitability and compliance with XOJET, Inc. requirements.
•Maintain a working knowledge of FAA specifications, type certificate data sheets, airworthiness directives, manufacturers’ overhaul manuals, service bulletins and related FAA publications.
•Compile data for the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance Program.
•Monitor the precision tooling and test equipment calibration program.
•Assist in ensuring all manuals and maintenance documentation used for the purpose of returning an aircraft to service are up to date.
•Help in maintaining a current list of employees qualified in the inspection of required inspection items, (RII) and in monitoring the RII list of all contract agencies performing work for XOJET, Inc. to insure qualified RII inspection personnel are used.
•Make an effort to increase his/her own knowledge by reference and studying of technical material and study guides provided for that purpose.
•Keep familiar with current airworthiness directives, applicable FAR’s, operation specifications, maintenance manuals, and revisions.
•Familiarized with the current minimum equipment lists.
•Is expected, when familiar with assigned duties, to be capable of acting for the Chief Inspector in his/her absence.
•Has responsibility of maintaining a safe work environment and reporting any unsafe conditions to management.
•May be assigned additional duties by Chief Inspector.


Experienced Desired:
•5 years maintaining, inspecting turbine powered aircraft
•BS in aviation maintenance management or related field preferred

A successful person in this position is one who…has a strong background in inspection of work performed and return to service of turbine aircraft in a repair station or air carrier operation.
